ERTC – Employee Retention Tax Credit

Businesses that have been impacted by the Covid – 19 can get up to $5,000 for 2020 and $21,000 for 2021 for each employee provided that they had 50 % reduction in business for 2020 or 20% reduction in business for 2021 compared to the 2019 for the same quarter. However, for ERTC the businesses can not take credit for the same period that was used for PPP loan and was forgiven.
